The best-selling pathology textbook for massage therapy is now in its Fourth Edition. The book presents detailed information on the etiology, signs and symptoms, and treatment of over 200 diseases and conditions, emphasizing how massage influences the disease and healing processes and how therapists can maximize the benefits while minimizing the risks.
Pathology for Massage TherapistsJuly 12, 2010 Michelle L. Spencer(UT USA) It's a wonderful tool to use daily with new clients and their medications as well as established clients with changing meds. I would recommend this book to massage therapists.
A real resource (reads like a textbook though)May 26, 2010 M. Palmer(Los Angeles, CA) Throughout school, an infinite amount of required book's and diagrams and practical study textbooks come a dime a dozen. But this book stood out for a couple of reasons. First, the visual capacity is wealthy! Lots of photos that explain all on their own almost every pathology known! Second, the level of organization and consistency in this text is appreciated, and vast. Keeps the reader focused and able to scan pages for information. The only issue is that it reads like a textbook.
Now if you want a book that's gonna give you some practical application along with an enjoyable reading experience, buy the addictive The Magic Touch: How to make $100,000 per year as a massage Therapist by Meagan R. Holub! This book explains both in technical detail and through page turning stories how a student can use countless resources to apply their gifts and further their massage education. It helps create a real-life picture of what a body worker's career should, and very well can be like when the actions are taken! A definite 5 star read!
Massage Therapist's Guide to PathologyApril 3, 2010 Bruce A. Gonseth(Florida) I have seen this book before and it is an excellent book for the Massage Therapist. I was glad to get it a a much cheaper price than the retail. Thank You

This book is a must have for any Massage Therapist for use as a learning tool or reference guide. Detailed, informative and the pictures are (gross, but) accurate.
In great condition.October 14, 2009 H. Ridge I needed this for my massage diploma but didn't have the money for a new one. This is a great product and is in really good condition for a second hand book. Great alternative to getting a brand new one.
