Great quick readJuly 19, 2010 Renee Chiarello(Jacksonville Beach, Florida United States) I don't understand the not so great reviews. I absolutely could not put this book down. There were times in the book that I thought - aha, I know what is going to happen next - only to be pleasantly surprised with something else. It is not literary fiction comparable to Hemingway, but it IS a great quick read. I would highly recommend for your summer reading list!!
I am looking forward to more books to read by Marilee Brothers.
Not great, but not badJuly 12, 2010 Amy Rogers(hawaii) Moonstone was a book I picked up to pass the time. That's what it did. I wasn't at all impressed with the plot and the characters were weak. The book was filled with bad grammar and typos. Certain phrases were overused and I soon became annoyed with the book itself. The ending was a disappointment. I dont hate the book (there were parts that I enjoyed) but I certainly dont love it.
A nice light readJune 22, 2010 sailorwind(Alexandria, VA) I can't honestly say I was blown away by this book. It wasn't bad. It was light and fun and kept me occupied for a few hours. It was somewhat predictible and formulaic, but it didn't bother me too much. The main character was likeable, although I personally found her mother to be my favorite character. Based on the ending this was a little unclear as to whether it was going to initiate a series or not. I guess I wasn't intrigued enough to check on that.
Poor BookJune 15, 2010 Reading this garbage was a complete waste of time. Poorly written with shallow characters and a plot to match.
Fun, suspenseful read, good for young teen on!June 10, 2010 Tash(Florida) I thought this book was a great read. I downloaded it as a free Kindle read, and decided to start reading it two days ago. I finished it last night because I couldn't put it down! It was suspenseful, exciting, and I liked the characters. I really have no complaints, and I am about the download the sequel!
