Customer Reviews: Could have been a lot better.April 14, 2010 J. Bradley Had high hopes for this book. With a published date of 2008 it should have been reasonably current. Most of the material dated from the early 90's which was a real long time ago for modern GPS practice. Most of the material is a rehash of old Army Corps of Engineers manuals. Fully two thirds of the book is fluff consisting of example forms, sample printouts (often running to many pages), and outside services contracting documents. For anyone who wants to improve their GPS surveying skills there is painfully little to be found here.
