Great Reader ... off-putting content pricingJuly 30, 2010 jax(Chicago) I am a great fan of my DX and the Kindle recently purchased for my wife (perfect for carrying around in her purse). However, insulting content pricing is becoming a matter of principle ... over $9.99 for books that I can purchase at $11 - $14 in hardcover is just unacceptable. ~Somebody~ (author, publisher, Amazon(?), all, none?) is taking advantage and it feels like gouging. What to do? limit my Kindle reading to fairly priced, discount, and free books, and thus limit my enthusiasm for the device, and ultimately move the family Kindles to our shelf of yesterday's-gadgets! That would be sad ...

I love my Kindle!July 30, 2010 Frances Porter I have had my Kindle 2 one month and have read 4 books! I take it everyplace. No glare out of doors. It's great. I need to get a cover for it as I want to protect it.
Un-believableJuly 30, 2010 Darlene A. After comparing the Kindle with the Barnes and Nobel Nook I found that the Kindel is a far better product. After purchasing the Kindel and using it I am totaling convinced the Kindel is a fantastic product easy to use and navigate through. I just Love it. I would recommend it to anyone. The different sized fonts are great easy on the eyes. Ordering new reading matter and down loading it is a matter of seconds. Navigating through a book is easy and using the dictionary is to look up a word is so simple. The Kindel makes reading a pleasure.
Kindle 6"July 30, 2010 Karen B McCreary I wasn't sure I would be able to adjust to an e book as I am a library goer. I love the feel of a book. I carry one with me all the time. But, except for initially having a little bit of trouble shutting it down, I've adjusted very quickly. I LOVE my Kindle. It slips easily in my purse. No more losing my place or toting a heavy book. I LOVE my Kindle.
