looks great.......doesn't matter whether you have gold plaiting and all that jazz, once it is a digital signal it either sends or doesn't.....this one looks good though :)

I bought two of these to try out on my new blu ray player versus my older cable.
These make a huge improvement in picture quality.

Excellent quality and appearence. There is no difference in audio and video quality between two new flat panels I have, one hooked to the Mediabridge cable and one hooked to $99 Monster HDMI cable.Mediabridge Ultra Series - High Speed HDMI Cable - 6ft - Supports 3D & Audio Return Channel

I don't know why, but when i connected it to my laptop, it didn't work (I use a 99c one now and it works perfect), it did work when i connected it to my xbox 360.
So I can't give a good review

I was lucky enough to get a brand new Sony Bravia LCD television for my 30th birthday, with a Monster brand HDMI cable thrown in for my Xbox 360. It wasn't but a few days later that the urge to buy a Blu Ray player set in.
After much scouring on the internet to find the perfect HDMI cable to connect this device to my television (without having to swap the Monster cable between the BD player and the 360), I came to these conclusions- Though I wanted one, I could not afford to purchase a second Monster cable- secondly, I was not comfortable enough to purchase a one cent cable with five dollar shipping.
Researching these sorts of things online for myself was a very educational experience. We all know that HDMI deals with a digital signal, 1's and 0's, etcetera. But you've got to give the actual physical construction of a product a little more credit than I've seen it being given. This particular Mediabridge HDMI cable is very well constructed, and it gives me an ease of mind in knowing that when I have to unplug the thing it's not going to self destruct on me.
I've watched a few Blu Rays using this cable and I must say that the picture quality itself is flawless.
I recommend this particular brand of HDMI cable to anyone feeling uncertain about the quality of the generic two cent cables all over Amazon, and to those who cannot afford the $100+ cables. You will not be disappointed!!
