Another good Sookie book... May 27, 2010 H. Fisher (Springfield, TN USA) I enjoyed this book... as I have the previous 9 (plus A Touch of Dead). You could tell this book is leading into another; the ending was odd. I'm in too deep with Sookie to give up now! As I await book #11, I'll just have to get my fix with True Blood (season 3 starts in 2 weeks!).
Wake me up when it's over... May 22, 2010 Candace Beauchamp (Austin, TX) Zzzzzzz... oh yeah. Book review.
So, these were some short stories based on the Sookie Stackhouse series. I guess the author wrote some storylines that ended up being more of short stories. They pulled into the book, but where separate. It did explain a character a little more, but I honestly didn't think they were all that well done. The Gift Wrap one seemed WAY too far out of character for Sookie herself.
Read it if you're a die hard fan, but be prepared to change your attitude on a few of the characters, including Pam, Niall and even Sookie herself.

THE BEST OF THE SERIES. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. THERE WAS LESS VIOLENCE AND MORE ROMANCE IN THIS. I LOVED IT
I had already read most of the short stories in this book. May 13, 2010 Pamela A. Cox (St. Louis) The short stories were not in depth enough to really get anything out of the book.
SNORE CITY! May 13, 2010 J. Buffkin (NC United States) This book was a major disappointment. The stories were boring and weak. Very 'Un-Sookie' like.
