The Delphi SKYFi2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver and Car Kit includes the SkyFi2 XM satellite radio receiver and the Delphi SA10102 Vehicle Kit, for a ready-to-go, XM satellite radio automobile package. Delphi's XM SkyFi2 Radio Receiver offers convenient plug-and-play XM Satellite Radio reception for the car, home, or office, including the first-ever pause and replay functions for satellite radio. Now you can pause or replay up to 30 minutes of live XM programming, and the SkyFi2 continuously and automatically saves the last 30 minutes of programming, including programming from multiple XM channels. The unit also offers a stock ticker, a sports-scores ticker, and a built-in wireless FM modulator, and a clock, among other features. Additional SkyFi2 features include a large scroll wheel and a convenient wireless remote control. You can navigate through direct-channel entry from both the receiver and the remote, and you can program up to 30 channel presets (10 more than the original SkyFi's 20) for one-button tuning to your station of choice. Also, the SkyFi2 adds something the original was missing: a stereo analog minijack (.125-inch) audio output for ready hookup with headphones or other audio equipment. SkyFi2's display is even easier to read than that of its predecessor. The channel guide lets you view 5 channels at a time while scrolling through the channels by channel name, number, artist name, or song title. You can also skip or add channels while scrolling. Quality product, great mounting options, pause feature great. October 4, 2008

I really like my skyfi2. The pause feature is great. This unit is easy to use. It does not give you the option of changing the screen color, which makes a difference when you do allot of night driving. The car kit comes with many mounting options to fit almost any application (temporary or permanent). I do not really like the scroll wheel. In DIRECT TUNE mode you must turn the wheel one click to make it WAKE UP. The second click will cause it to change the channel. This is really annoying when you want to go through the channels one at a time to discover new channels that you might like. However the remote control has UP/DOWN buttons that allow channel by channel navigation to be simple just like a tv remote.

Purchased this satellite receiver to use at a vacation home in the mountains of southern california. I already own a 4+ year old delphi roady that had no issues in this regard, but decided to get a second receiver so I would not have to transport the roady back and forth from my home to the mountains and it always received a great signal from the satellite. The new receiver was incapable of even being able to locate or load the signal in order to activate an additonal account with xm. I activated the device in town without difficulty but as soon as I moved it back to the mountains, no signal could be found. NOT RECOMMENDED for anyone who needs good satellite reception in mountains. BE WARNED that xm customer service is not helpfull or forthcoming with issues related to placement of this receiver.

This was a replacement for the SkyFi2 I purchased about 3 years ago. (The old one was stolen)The old one would transmit thru the Fm modulator to my auto stereo perfectly. This new one must not have the same type of modulator, as it won't transmit to my auto stereo. It does, but fades in and out and usually with a LOT of static, just like there was no antenna hooked up. It will work fine with the cassette adapter and the gizmo that you have to run out and put on the outside antenna. I don't like either of those methods. I like XM radio, but not the changes made to this SkyFi2 receiver!
